We are looking for a network engineer, who has decent experience (minimum 5 years) at that position.
Responsibilities:
Providing 99,999% availability in production Data Center networks for application (Video, Voice, Messaging) across the globe.
Continuously improving and extending network technologies in existing DCs.
Building out networks in new DCs.
Troubleshooting and fixing issues together with infrastructure and application teams. Support Lab/Stage/Regression environments. Participation in on call rotation.
Responsible for design, overall view and approach.
Requirements:
Experience & General Knowledge:
5+ years of experience in one or more areas: ISP, Enterprise, or Data Center environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Juniper (MX, SRX, EX, QFX). We are also open to candidates with equivalent expertise in other major vendors (Cisco, Huawei, Arista, etc.) and a willingness to work with Juniper.
Proven experience in both Greenfield (building from scratch) and Brownfield (migrating/upgrading existing networks) deployments.
English: Intermediate level or higher
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of Layer 2/3 technologies like STP/RSTP, LACP, VRRP, OSPF, BGP, BFD,VRF/Routing Instances, etc.
Modern DC technologies like EVPN/VXLAN, MCLAG
Experience with IPSec, SSL VPN technologies
Firewall management with vendor-based solutions (Juniper SRX, Fortigate, etc.).
Solid understanding of network services - TCP/IP stack, SNMP, DHCP, DNS, and TACACS+, etc.
Linux on experienced user level.
Understanding of server infrastructure side (baremetall, virtualization with hypervisor, docker/k8s).
Nice to have:
Experience with MPLS services
Understanding of High Availability approaches, clusterization.
Experience with vendor-specific (e.g., F5/A10) and Linux-based solutions (IPVS, HAProxy, Nginx)
Proficiency in Python for routine task automation. Experience with Ansible
Terraform and networking in public clouds (AWS, GCP, IBM, Oracle, Azure)
