Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, maintain, automate, and troubleshoot virtual and physical servers, as well as storage systems.
Develop and execute project plans for virtualization initiatives, including infrastructure scaling and migrations.
Automate routine infrastructure operations in a private cloud environment (VMware).
Create and manage automation tools, including the development of REST API integration scripts.
Strictly adhere to RingCentral's change management policies and procedures.
Provide on-call support for server, storage, and virtual infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency with VMware (8.X) and vSphere in a large-scale environment.
Intermediate to expert-level knowledge of maintaining Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows operating systems.
Solid understanding of data center networking and storage technologies.
Configuration management experience with tools like Ansible.
Competency in scripting using Bash and Python.
10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 6 years specifically related to x86 virtualization.
Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with the vRealize Suite (Operations, Log Insight).
Experience with Netapp and/or EMC storage systems.
As а Plus:
Puppet and Foreman as plus.
vRealize Suite (Orchestrator, Automation) as plus.
Knowledge of cloud providers like AWS and Google Cloud.
