About the Team
We build and evolve high‑load, AI‑powered cloud communications services (UCaaS) that power telephony, audio‑video conferencing, instant messaging, and contact center solutions for millions of users. Our teams continuously ship new features while improving system performance, scalability, and reliability.
Role Overview
The Delivery Manager (DM) leads a multi‑team delivery "track" coordinating several engineering teams across domains and locations to deliver product features with the promised scope, quality, and timeline.
You partner closely with Product Management to convert the product roadmap into executable engineering plans, manage dependencies and risks, and drive release outcomes end‑to‑end.
What You’ll Do
Product & Requirements Management
Collaborate with Product Managers to compile and prioritize team backlogs.
Facilitate scope trade‑offs (trade‑in/trade‑off) to protect timelines and quality.
Translate the product roadmap into delivery plans and clear engineering objectives.
Release & Delivery Management
Lead planning for upcoming releases; set and secure delivery commitments.
Drive estimation for incoming product requests; use estimates to shape release scope.
Coordinate work across multiple teams, departments, and offices; manage cross‑track dependencies.
Assign and track work with external/partner teams as needed.
Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues.
Ensure transparent, accurate status reporting for stakeholders.
Program / Project Management
Own scope, schedules, resources, and outcomes for assigned deliverables and projects.
Establish and maintain an effective delivery operating rhythm (cadence, reviews, checkpoints).
Use appropriate escalation paths to remove blockers and resolve conflicts quickly.
Stakeholder Communication
Build tight alignment with Product Owners and domain leads on priorities and scope.
Maintain a communication plan for the track (recurring PM/engineering syncs, release forums, priority project reviews, and cross‑domain updates).
Process & Continuous Improvement
Uphold company delivery processes and SDLC best practices (Agile: Scrum, Kanban).
Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements to tools, workflows, and collaboration.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and operational excellence across teams.
People & Operations
Foster effective team collaboration and healthy, results‑oriented ways of working.
