We are looking for an experienced Senior test automation engineer with a strong background in general programming, automation testing, and test design to strengthen our automation team and participate in an in-house automation testing framework and test coverage development.
The target application is a video meeting client, built using Electron framework and includes both the web and the native UI components, combined with media-related features, which imposes very challenging requirements on the test automation..
Key technologies: Java, Selenium, Appium
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain an in-house automation testing framework;
Implement functional and non-functional test scenarios;
Improve pass-rate and run speed of the test suite;
Expand infrastructure and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
Strong Java skills;
Extensive experience in automation testing;
Experience testing native applications on Windows and Mac OS;
Experience testing web-based applications;
Ability to evaluate complex projects and meet deadlines.
Pluses
Experience in media (audio/video) testing;
Experience with GitLab and/or Jenkins CI/CD pipeline creation;
Knowledge of Electron, Chromium or WebRTC internals.
