Frontend developer (Contact Center)

In this position, you will work on RingCX (Contact Center) UI, with product owners, designers, architects, and other engineers to help develop web-based application interfaces emphasizing seamless user experience.

Our product goes beyond handling calls—it's focused on creating scalable systems that use AI and automation to reduce call handling times, improve agent workflows, and provide faster resolutions to customer issues. By integrating advanced data analytics, RingCX helps companies prioritize and route inquiries efficiently, ensure that agents have all the necessary context to resolve problems, and automate repetitive tasks, allowing agents to focus on more complex and valuable interactions. This leads to quicker responses, better customer experiences, and reduced operational costs.

Contact Center UI is a set of applications consisting of an administrative console, an agent application, an analytical portal, various internal npm libraries, and a UI kit. Our UI stack is a combination of Angular and React.

 Responsibilities:

  • Review requirements and translate them into technical implementation;

  • Write component and unit tests for your code by using react-testing-library and jest;

  • Build/Create modern web applications using React ecosystem;

  • Work with inner npm packages and UI kit;

  • Perform code reviews for other developers and continuously look for opportunities to improve and optimize code quality;

  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve a wide range of technical problems;

  • Effectively communicate and collaborate on design and technology with management and other engineering teams;

  • Follow RingCentral internal coding style and principle to design and implement business system based on requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in building complex web-based user interfaces for enterprise-grade commercial cloud services;

  • 4+ years experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Angular.js, HTML, and CSS;

  • 2+ years experience with React.js ecosystem libraries like redux, saga, hook-forms;

  • Familiarity with bundling process and how to configure webpack/rollup from scratch;

  • Understanding how to use browser development tools and how to use them in JavaScript code;

  • Willingness to take ownership of the tasks and to achieve targets with minimum supervision;

  • Strong problem-solving skills, can-do attitude;

Nice to have:

  • Experience with SaaS, distributed, highly available, event-driven systems;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent is required;
