JettyCloud looks for IT professionals on behalf of RingCentral to join its team in Sofia.
RingCentral Bulgaria is a new European branch of an American company RingCentral. JettyCloud is a software R&D center that works for RingCentral. Due to our long-term partnership, we help the company to find talented engineers who will work on #1 cloud communications solution.
Billing direction consists of several strong teams united by one task - to develop, integrate and support the company's billing system. We deal with tasks such as pricing configuration, invoicing, payment processing, integration with various partners (AT&T/Avaya/Atos, etc.), adding new functionality, processing new user subscriptions (independent and through sales agents), integration with payment systems, visualization of billing information and much more.
Solve interesting and complicated tasks;
Develop data structures and code for DBMS Oracle for high load billing service, working 24/7;
Perform code review for DB changes, queries and other DB-related parts of code;
Prepare releases and verify DB changes made by other team members;
Update Dev Environments;
Diagnose and fix the system issues;
Review production DB performance;
Collaborate closely with architects, product managers, QAs, developers on DB-related tasks;
Provide support to the teams as a DB expert.
4+ years of PL/SQL programming;
Solid knowledge of Oracle database products;
Design and development experience of distributed DB;
Knowledge of data replication technology (Golden Gate);
Basic DBA skills and performance monitoring/tuning skills;
Analytical thinking and experience dealing with high load data processing applications;
Good understanding of full software development life cycle;
Self-motivation and proactivity;
Would be a plus:
Experience with other DBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL);
DB Administration experience.
